We decided to try this place as we are staying at the resort. A bit nervous though, based on the reviews. We were pleasantly surprised! The service was fantastic! I ordered the 12oz ribeye and it was cooked very well. The shrimp scampi my wife got was good, however it was a little too lemony. In addition, in her shrimp scampi we found a piece of metal! Looked like it was from some sort of wrapper. We alerted the staff and they apologized removing the charge for the shrimp scampi and asking if we wanted to order something else. My wife ordered the cheesy potato soup and it was DIVINE. Originally I was going to do 3 stars because we found the metal wrapper, but because they handled the situation well and took care of us, I put the star back. I would like to add the Diet Pepsi had no bitterness, which is very common in fountain Diet Coke. That's just a hard win for Pepsi in my book. I do think the prices were a little high but it's a resort restaurant so it's to be expected. Overall we enjoyed our food despite the mishap.

I already reviewed 17 South but like is often the case, it seems to have disappeared. Since it takes time for me anyway to write reviews I am just going to be brief as it's frustrating to have to keep writing them over and over. Ok, the food was ok, maybe a little pricy, even for a bar in a Las Vegas resort. We don't mind paying a higher price when the food and service is superior but that was not the case. Everything we ordered was ok, however, it all seemed like reheated frozen food from Costco, Yellow, or CISCO, the places that make prepackaged foods for low-end restaurants as well as restaurant supplies. Nothing seemed made in-house and as such just felt reheated secondhand quality. Last, they were extremely slow to service, maybe someone had to make a Costco run to pick up or order? I could have rated it lower, but the food was not bad, just not great. We chose to eat off the property the rest of the time. There are so many great places to eat in las Vegas, there is no reason to not eat at a great place with fair prices when your surrounded by so many better options.

We had a mom and son date here after a long day. Our hostess/waitress was very kind and helpful. We ordered a banana cabana and a delectable ice cream dish. My son was over the moon for his dessert. We had a wonderful time in an inviting atmosphere with delicious food and wonderful drink.

We ordered blackened chicken Alfredo, salmon with mashed potato and green beans, and got our drinks to go for the room. Staff was friendly, service was quick, and food was very comforting and quick to come out. Would definitely recommend if staying at the Tahiti resort. There are slot machines in the dining room if you'd like to gamble!

This place surprised me. It was conveniently located in our weird timeshare hotel, but the food was so stinking good. The drinks were a little over sweetened but I didn't mind. I was there for the food. I fell in love with the steak sandwich. It was juicy, seasoned beautifully, and so delicious. Even if you're not staying at Tahiti village resort, swing that way and get the steak sandwich with sweet potato fries. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, too.
